Plain English summary: QuickProbe is a tool to help you keep food safety records. It does not guarantee you will pass an inspection or be legally compliant. You are responsible for your own compliance. By using QuickProbe, you agree to these terms.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using QuickProbe ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Failing to agree to the terms will prevent you from accessing the Service.

These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the business owner or authorised user) and QuickProbe, operated in Australia.

Description of Service

QuickProbe is a digital food safety record-keeping application that helps food businesses log temperatures, deliveries, checklists, and compliance records. The Service is provided via a web application accessible at quickprobe.com.au.

QuickProbe is a record-keeping tool only. It is not a food safety certification service, an audit service, or a guarantee of regulatory compliance.

Subscription & Payment

QuickProbe offers the following subscription plans:

All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and inclusive of GST where applicable. Pricing is subject to change with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.

Founding and early-access pricing is locked in for the life of the subscription as long as the subscription remains active and is not cancelled.

Cancellation & Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

Monthly subscriptions: No refunds for partial months.

Annual subscriptions: A pro-rata refund may be issued within 14 days of payment. After 14 days, annual subscriptions are non-refundable.

To cancel, email hello@quickprobe.com.au with your business name and registered email address.

Important Disclaimer — Compliance

QuickProbe assists with record keeping only. It does not guarantee regulatory compliance, inspection outcomes, or food safety certification. The accuracy and completeness of records is entirely the responsibility of the business and its staff. QuickProbe is not liable for any fines, penalties, enforcement actions, or business losses arising from a food safety inspection or incident, regardless of whether QuickProbe was in use at the time.

Food safety laws vary by state and territory. You should consult a qualified food safety professional or your local council for specific compliance advice relevant to your business.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, QuickProbe's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months prior to the claim.

Intellectual Property

QuickProbe, including its design, code, branding, and content, is owned by QuickProbe and protected by Australian intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of all food safety records and business data you enter into the Service. By using the Service, you grant QuickProbe a limited licence to store and process that data solely to provide the Service to you.

You may not copy, reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute any part of the QuickProbe application or its code.

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you:

Changes to the Service

We may update, modify, or discontinue features of the Service at any time. We will endeavour to provide reasonable notice of significant changes.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

This agreement shall be governed by and construed according to the laws of Queensland, Australia. For any disputes that may arise, the parties will irrevocably submit themselves to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.

Nothing in these terms affects your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
